As the creator of this oil painting, I try to capture those ordinary yet moving moments, freeze them on the canvas, and make them eternal. The woman in this painting is wearing a green top with her hair tied into a simple ponytail. This oil painting is my affectionate portrayal of a typical urban street during the Chinese Spring Festival in the 1990s. In that era, the Spring Festival was always filled with a strong festive atmosphere and people's beautiful expectations for the new year.

On both sides of the street in the picture, traditional red and gold lanterns are hung, which twinkle with warm light in the night, adding a strong festive color to the entire street. The lanterns are decorated with Chinese characters, conveying good wishes for good luck and prosperity, as if taking people back to that era full of traditional cultural charm.
