The woman in this painting is wearing a green top with her hair tied into a simple ponytail. She sits on a comfortable chair, leaning back slightly, as if lost in thought or admiring the scenery outside the window.

The little cat next to her, with its orange fur appearing particularly soft under the light, is sitting quietly on her lap, enjoying the tranquility and warmth. This oil painting is my affectionate portrayal of a typical urban street during the Chinese Spring Festival in the 1990s. In that era, the Spring Festival was always filled with a strong festive atmosphere and people's beautiful expectations for the new year.

On both sides of the street in the picture, traditional red and gold lanterns are hung, which twinkle with warm light in the night, adding a strong festive color to the entire street.
